Imagination is a great thing! I love looking at life through the curious eyes of my 2 year old. At every bend there is something new and exciting, under every rock a creature to discover, beyond his reach is an adventure just waiting to unfold. Matthew is curious, spontaneous, spirited and a funny little thing. This morning was one of those mornings that started with the 'imagination' on high and it just set the mood for the rest of day so far. I made toast (cuban toast) for breakfast this morning and as I was piddling around in the kitchen I hear the exclaimation of my son "WOW!, Look Mama, look!!! As any good mother I rush over to see what could be so spectacular...he shows me his bread (the pic above) and with a smile from ear to ear, he proudly proclaims "A Happy Face". I couldn't help but to grab my phone and snap a pic of his AMAZING TOAST. He continued to eat joyfully and between mouthfuls I could hear him exclaim "I eat Happy Face".
How cute is that? I love the imagination of a child!!!
If you're thinking of trying Digi, quick pages are the way to go. Digi Quick Pages make it easy for you to create a page without the frustration of creating something new right off the bat. Learning to navigate a new program can be difficult especially if you are a *DO IT YOURSELF* learner. The great part of quick pages is that it allows you to create instantly while still learning whichever program you are using for Digital Scrapbooking. The page is already designed for you, all you have to do is *Drop* the picture into the open window. Digi Quick Pages is a fantastic way to be creatively digi while learning.

It's about time..after 7 months of not scrapping, I think I found my mojo. The ladies over at The Shaker Box are always a great source of inspiration and some are personal cheerleaders in getting me motivated. Thank you. I'm looking forward to some Blog Challenges and other scrapping fun. In the meantime, thanks for stopping by and looking at the latest creations.
Well Matthew's first day of Preschool was August 24th, so here we are at the end of week 2 and he's adjusting well. The first few days were a little difficult, but I guess that's normal. His biggest hurdle is naptime! Some days he does well and naps, but other days he doesn't. It seems he has a strong opinion about this and seems to be wreaking havoc on innocent bystanders by not allowing the other littles ones to nap. I hang my head in shame and hope that he will adjust soon. But all is not lost, in just these few days he's made friends, loves his teachers and enjoys school. At the end of the week we receive a package of projects that have been completed by him including coloring, painting, pasting, cutting and glitter...I love all that he's doing. As for me, well the adjustment has been harder, I cried everyday the first week after I dropped him off. Today, I just teared up, so I'm on my way to recovery as well....(Don't laugh at me). We are so proud of you Matthew, keep up the good work!!! You are a GOOD BOY!!!
Maya Angelou : The ship of my life may or may not be sailing on calm and amiable seas. The challenging days of my existence may or may not be bright and promising. Stormy or sunny days, glorious or lonely nights, I maintain an attitude of gratitude. If I insist on being pessimistic, there is always tomorrow. Today I am blessed.
