Oh..I just love when I stumble across a terrific site. Gauche Alchemy is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to stop at everyday. There is so much to see..amazing and inspiring talent. Plus they offer an amazing list of Challenge Blogs, Sketch Pages, Paper Crafts and much much more. I'm still finding more and more each time I drop by...my latest find that has me reeling is the Etsy Shop...love it! So stop by and give them a looksie!

A funny thing...

It's funny how ideas come into your mind. I was standing in line to pay for a brassiere. There I was when "POOF" into my mind jumped the name. I couldn't believe it..it was perfect. I ran home checked blogspot to make sure it wasn't taken and perfect...it belongs to me. I'm so excited to share it with everyone. The new name encompasses everything...my life of scrapping with other tidbits of me too. I was on the fence for awhile with Milk n Cookies, Scrapping Pink, and Scrap-a-doodle...but I must say...by far...Bits and Scraps of Me....is my favorite.

Good Day to you all and thanks for stopping by. I love Valetines Day..it's such a great day to express yourself without anyone thinking you have an alterior motive..a bit jaded eh? I love that today everyone is out bustling about trying to buy cards, flowers, balloons and presents all to let someone know that they are loved. It is a great feeling.

Still at a loss

I don't have a name yet...I'm at a loss of words, thought, and inspiration. I will continue to ponder, but I've given myself a deadline...Feb. 13th. I must have a title by then or else I will have no title...I will have to go with "THE NO NAME BLOG!"...how sad is that? Perhaps I will have a stroke of genuis throughout the week.

A Quest for a New Name

Well another day has passed and I'm still on the search for a new name for the blog. I was thinking about all the things I like, for instance…I love love love Harry Potter. But this site isn’t dedicated to only HP, therefore, if I chose a HP name and fan came over and saw all this other stuff I might be cursed…Cruciatus..no one likes to be tortured or worse Avada Kedavra and we know that one doesn't end well at all.
Then I thought, hmmm well I really like Dr. Seuss..but who names their blog…YIAPERS in DIAPERS, or ZILK in my MILK, or A ZAPER in my PAPER…no, no, no…moving on. Plus, I love all sorts of books, funny, murder mysteries, romance, even a little smut now and then…so I thought…KNOCK KNOCK, WHO’S THERE? A KILLING SPREE OF TRUE LOVE EROTICA….now that’s a crazy name!
So for now..I’m still thinking. What will it be? I know that I enjoy reading, I love scrapping,and I love chocolate…how do I bring that all together? Perhaps tonight I will be enlightened and the new name will come to me in a dream.

The Ramblings of a Blog Addict...

Coming of Age seems to have turned on a light somewhere in the depths of my brain. It seems I have more to say on everything, more than just about scrapbooking. I have so much going on in my life besides my obvious addiction to Paper. I am a wife, a Mom to a beautiful boy, a sister, a friend, a daughter, an Aunt, a reader, a creator, a baker, and so much more. Even more amazing I will be a TEACHER back in the work force come August 2009. So a change is in order. Although I will be forever...DIVASCRAPPER, my blog has to evolve..I need a creative title to bring together all the bits of me. All the wonders of turning 40 and not being afraid to admit it!!
As I ponder on my new vision, I am a bit nervous, but all the same excited to see that I am setting out on a new venture of my blog life. While scrapping will be a big part of me and this blog, it will not be the only part of me.
